# Search Console: Query clusters

> Up to 1000 queries of the last 28 days grouped by meaning, on request, by the embedding model on this computer. Each cluster has its clicks, impressions and position, its words, the pages that get its clicks and its queries.

- **Mode:** Simple and Pro
- **Built from:** The saved report's queries, embedded on this computer

## On the screen

Before the first run, the report has the note and **Cluster the queries**. After it, the clusters, most clicks first; a cluster opens to show its words, pages and queries.

Numbered parts of the screenshot:

1. **On this computer.** Grouped by the embedding model on this computer. Nothing is sent anywhere. It takes about a minute.
2. **Count.** **{n} clusters from {q} queries**.
3. **Export.** Saves every cluster with its queries.
4. **Cluster.** Named by its words; the row opens the cluster. A name may be a competitor's, replaced in this picture.
5. **Share of clicks.** The bar is the cluster's share of the clicks of all clusters.
6. **Figures.** **{clicks} clicks · {impressions} impressions · pos. {position}**, then the number of queries.
7. **Split between pages.** Two or more pages each take a real share of this cluster's clicks: one topic, several pages.

## Making the clusters

- Nothing runs on its own: **Cluster the queries** starts it, and the button reads **Clustering…** until it ends.
- It takes the 1000 queries of the last 28 days with the most impressions, whatever period the head shows, and needs at least six.
- The model is the app's embedding model on this computer (see [Embeddings](https://www.getlooploop.com/gllmolfar/docs/settings-embeddings)); the queries do not leave it.
- The clusters are saved on this computer with the report they came from, and shown again until **Refresh** brings new data.

## A cluster, opened

| Block | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| Words | The terms that mark the cluster, as chips. |
| Pages that get these clicks | Each page with its clicks and its number of queries in the cluster. |
| Queries | Each query with its clicks, impressions and position. Up to 50, with **Showing 50 of N.** |
| Split between pages | Shown on the row when two or more pages each take at least 15% of the cluster's clicks. |

A split cluster is worth reading beside [Cannibalization](https://www.getlooploop.com/gllmolfar/docs/gsc-cannibalization), which works query by query, and the crawl's [Topics](https://www.getlooploop.com/gllmolfar/docs/topics), which group the pages themselves.

## States and messages

- **Working** — the app says: "Clustering…" On the button while the model works.
- **Too few** — the app says: "Too few queries to cluster." The report has too few queries to group.
